The Landan Company is committed to protecting your privacy.  In order to serve your continuing education needs, we must collect certain information from you, and we want you to understand what that data is and how we use it. By using our web site or registering for our continuing education classes, you consent to these policies as outlined below.

Information Collection and Use
When you register for one of our classes, you will provide your name as it appears on your license, your license number, your contact address, and phone number.  Optionally, you may provide your company name and your e-mail address.  We use this information to report to the State of Florida that you have completed continuing education hours in our classes and to contact you.  If you are paying your registration fee online, you will also provide a credit card number and other information such as the credit card billing address, which is necessary to authenticate the transaction.  Your payment information is disclosed only to the credit card payment processor, and only the information necessary to complete the transaction is disclosed.  We will not disclose any personally identifiable information to any other third party except in the case of a court order, subpoena, or other lawful mandate.

Like most commercial web sites, we may also automatically collect and aggregate certain non-personal data from users of our web site.  This information may include which browser and operating system is used, the user’s IP address, how users navigate our site, and other data which we use to administer this site in an effort to provide the best on-line service we can.  None of this data is personally identifiable.

Information Protection
Information which you provide during the registration process is encrypted and transmitted via a secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. When SSL is active, you will notice a small locked padlock or key icon at the bottom of your browser window, and the page URL will begin with “https” rather than “http.”

E-mail is not secured, and we encourage you to exclude sensitive personal information from e-mail you send to us.  We will not transmit any sensitive personal information via e-mail.

Your information which is in our custody is stored on a secured system accessible only by authorized employees of The Landan Company.  Landan is not responsible for the security of information stored by the State of Florida, its agencies, or by payment gateways and processors after that information has been transmitted by Landan to those entities.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files which may be delivered to your computer.  They promote convenient and efficient use of our site.  Absolutely no personally identifiable information is included in any cookies we may deliver. For your convenience, we encourage you to enable your browser to accept cookies while you are using our site.

Information Changes and Corrections
If your information is incorrect or has changed, please contact us so that we may update your records.

Suggestions and Feedback
Suggestions and feedback from alumni, building officials and others become the property of The Landan Company and may be used by Landan without notice or compensation.  Landan will not identify the submitters of suggestions and feedback without their prior consent.

Information presented herein is subject to updates. However any updates to our privacy policy will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to visit here frequently.
